Its a hard knock life

Today I watched, disgusted, as cute easter bunnies were tormented through the chicken wire. I saw one get poked in the eye by a little kid. I now have a new found respect for the bunnies. I feel for them.

March Madness. My quest for bracket perfection. This year I tried again to have a good bracket but no. Teams like Syracuse that I had in the final four lost in the first round to Vermont. VERMONT!! O well. I hope the one team that I picked in the elite eight will bring me glory by winning the entire thing. Temporary w00t for UNC. I was feeling down until the Nemo I got from McDonalds made it all better.

It's almost as if...

When I walked into O'Charley's today the first thing I heard was that annoying birthday song, announcing the distribution of free cake.  After about the eighth time we heard it my dad asked the waitress if they check ID's to verify if it is the person's birthday.  She said no, but figured they should as she has seen customers come in twice in the same month to receive they’re free cake.

I think I'm going to try it twice in the same day.

Wait there's a moral!

The Strike and Spare bowling alley's arcade has once again fallen victim to my mighty wrath.  Weeks ago I hit the jackpot on a game called "Big Haul" that spewed at me around 1000 tickets.  But tonight with #2 as my witness I played the hunting game "Extreme Hunting" (I've never actually hunted or for that matter shown any interest in hunting).  However I beat the game and now my 3-letter first name is the number two highest all-time score, and I also hold three individual animal records. The machine was broken so it paid for half of the quarters I had to pump into it.

Oh the money I wasted...glory comes at high cost.

My computer is fixed.  New photos will be added of the Knoppix (Linux on a CD) that helped me cope.

Keeping it crunk baby

Adults, mingling, beer: these were familiar grounds for me...that is until I was introduced not as, “Have you met my son.”, but, “Hey have you met our youngest bloggers from Jacob's Posse.” 

It was a new experience for me to be in a room full of bloggers, and I must say   I was both impressed and bit frightened of you folks...but mostly impressed.  It was actually fun (considering talking over beer food isn't really my idea of fun).
